We moved in in October of 2013, some of us lived at a place called the Halfway House on the lower east side of Detroit, it lasted 2 years and hosted over 200+ shows. The new spot is carrying on the same ideals; a safe and friendly show space located in Detroit, Michigan. All genre’s and people are welcome, just a few simple rules to follow. No smoking inside, stay in the back yard and have fun!
BOOKING INFORMATION:
Out of Town Bands: Email us who you are, when you’re coming through, what your touring history in detroit/metro is and links so we can check out your tunes (ie: facebook, myspace, band camp, etc). Please also include a contact name and phone number, we will check it out and get back to you pretty quick if we can do it or not. Keep in mind, we don’t normally (exceptions can be made) do “guarantees” BUT don’t let that discourage you, unlike other houses around we actually do physical flyering, online promotions, get locals who will do all the same and we don’t do “donations” we do a door charge and have a great build in crowd, and will make sure you’re taken care of to the best of our abilities…the house owners all play in touring bands and know how it goes.
Local Bands: Same rules as nationals apply, but remember we want bands on the show who are going to actually try to BRING KIDS IN. We don’t want a band whos along for the ride, you must be willing to flyer, promote and help show the out of town bands what Detroit is all about! Also a note to locals, we sometimes can toss gas cash but our main priority is to hook up the touring band with as much as possible (pretty sure if you think about it, you would want the same if you’re on the road!)
Promoters: We would love to rent the house out to you, simply email us and we will give you all the details on how we can make it so!
Please understand, at any given day we are getting 5-10 emails to play the house, we can’t take on EVERY single show..but we do our best to help! So with all that said, drop us a line.
